Joomla 2.5.11 Released

The Joomla Project is pleased to announce the immediate availability of Joomla 2.5.11. This is a security release. The Production Leadership Team's goal is to continue to provide regular, frequent updates to the Joomla community.

Version 1.7 will reach end of life one month from today, on 24 February 2012. All users of version 1.7 should update to version 2.5.0 before that time.

  • Joomla 2.5.11 contains:
    • no security issue fixed
    • 5 tracker issues fixed

Tracker Issues Fixed

  • Memcached driver breaks Joomla configuration page.   
  • Error in Database tab in Extension Manager. Thanks Amirol Ahmad.
  • Only titles display in featured/blogged views when hide intro text is selected.    
  • Can't upload file after update from 2.5.9 to 2.5.10    
  • Exception thrown for empty path
